Acrylic pouring Art puddles method
I used 1 part water and two parts paint. Although I use a scale, I sometimes eyeball it. My aim is to get a consistency in paint roughly the equivalent of pancake batter or a thick sauce. Apart from that I used silicone oil, which makes cell creation easier, and changes the overall properties of the paint. Acts more like oil films on water, without becoming to runny. The other compound is pouring medium (Liquitex Pouring Medium), which also changes the properties of the paint, without dulling the colors. Silicone oil and pouring medium are optional. Apart from that, I used a kitchen blow torch to burst any air bubbles trapped between the paint layers. Which causes the cell effect.
