The Poison of Morbidity
Various things can cause a human to sicken.
May it be by natural means, or the machinations of one or many.
Existence is a constant struggle with which one is stricken.
Slowly the environment poisons the spirit.
Inevitably changing its nature over time,
and becoming a conspiring culprit.
Biting back, and tearing itself apart.
The environment, the sole antidote.
Perpetual trouble obtaining it, until one boards Charon´s boat.
Its function schizophrenic, like a perverted joke of divine art.
The gods truly have humour, yet no heart.
