A drop of water in the distance.
Another bite, a sip.
A few minutes more of dull subsistence.
Welling nausea, the void returns.
Panic threatens my consistence.
Twisting nerve, widening chasm.
Heart beating in discordance.
Ragged breath, cold sweat.
Breaking down my ebullience.
Searing heart, freezing touch.
Here to test my existence.
Composure stripped, consciousness ripped.
Nothing more than a puppet-like semblance.
